Mitchell by Linda Wilson
Linda Wilson received her BA Degree
in Psychology from Cleveland State University. She worked
for five years as a computer programmer before taking
time out to have a family. She is a member of the Lakewood
Historical Society Junior Board and has held offices
in several capacities, most recently as vice-president.
She serves as a docent for the Historical Society's museum
and is also in charge of the Brownie Scouts Tea Parties
there. In the summer she teaches "Ohio
Heritage," a special historical program designed to
teach third through fifth graders about Ohio pioneer life
through hands-on and re-creative situation participation.
This program is offered through the Lakewood Board of
Education.
Linda is married and has two sons, Jeremy, a high school student and
Jeffrey, an elementary student. She has been active in their schools' PTAs
and has held numerous offices in those organizations. She is currently
studying accounting at Cleveland State University.
Linda has been with Women In History since its inception and is an officer
and an educator/presenter who portrays six different women in American
history.

Rosetta Wakeman - posed as a male to join Union army, a fact not discovered
until her death
