Synopsis
Welcome to a world, of magic, wonder, gigantic monsters, and a group of the strangest heros you've seen! Lina Inverse has a reputation as a ruthless sorceress that will stop at nothing to take whatever she pleases. She's a treasure hunter looking for new adventures, and more food to feed her endless pit of a stomach as well as meet new zany friends along the way.

The Slayers is an action-packed series also full of non-stop comedy that will keep your eyes glued to the set. Lina's escourted on her adventures through the land by Gourry, a kind, but stupid swordsman who stumbles his way into becoming Lina's friend, and bodyguard. Amelia fights for justice, and that's pretty much it. Zelgadis is a mysterious warrior, half-man, half-golem. He searches for a cure to the spell that made him the "creature" that he believes he is.

This was an immensly popular series in Japan, and has spawned 3 TV series (The Slayers, The Slayers NEXT, and The Slayers TRY) and many movies as well. The movies, contain a character not shown in the series named Naga. Always trying to get the best of Lina, Naga's comical apperances make the movies hilarious as well.
