2004 Flower Bulb Program and Amaryllis Campaign The Amaryllis Campaign has been expanded and will now include mixed tulips, daffodils (yellow and pink) and mixed crocus. Besides the addition of the flower bulbs, the amaryllis will now be potted in potting mix. Volunteers are always needed to help with this event by making deliveries, posting flyers, taking orders, etc. If you are interested in volunteering, please call the Chapter Office at 440-423-0506. The Chapter's Hoop-a-thon was held on Saturday, June 26 at the Rocky River Recreation Center. The Hoop-A-Thon Committee thanks everyone who volunteered, participated or attended this successful event. This Spring: Annual Meeting and Open Medical Forum: This event was held on Friday, May 7, 2004 beginning with a buffet reception followed by a presentation by Dr. Michael Hayden. Dr. Hayden is a member of the Huntington's Disease Coalition for the Cure, and is a full professor of Medical Genetics at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Vintage Wine Tasting and Train Ride Benefit: The Chapter held its annual Benefit, the Vintage Wine Tasting and Train Ride aboard the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad on Wednesday, May 12, 2004. Thanks to all who attended. |
