This compilation of the histories of the Lakewood Public Schools was organized, edited, and produced by Joseph Wilson, former teacher, principal and personnel director (1947-1979) and Eleanor Chidester, former Clerk-Treasurer of the Lakewood Board of Education and Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools (1956-1972). It appeared in print form in 1984.
