ABOUT YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNT

MY ACCOUNT In My Account, information about current library transactions can be viewed, your personal identification number (PIN) can be changed, and checked-out materials can be renewed.

USER ID Your User ID is the barcode sequence on your library card. It is 14 digits long and begins with "PLPL." The last (that's the 14th) digit will most likely be alphabetic or a symbol instead of a number. Omit the spaces. Make sure you don't confuse zero with the letter O.

PIN Check at the Circulation Desk for your PIN. After your first use, you can change your PIN to one of your liking.

If you haven't already logged in, you may be prompted to log in when you attempt to change information in My Account. This login is only valid for the duration of the current transaction.

Select Review My Account.

Select My Account from the rootbar.

Select Review My Account.

Log in, if required.

The My Account page allows you to review bills, checkouts, and current hold requests. From the My Account page you can cancel holds.

If you haven't already logged in, you may be prompted to log in when you attempt to change information in My Account. This login is only valid for the duration of the current transaction.

Change Your PIN.

Select My Account from the rootbar.
Select Change My PIN.
Type in your user ID.
Type in your current PIN.
Enter your new PIN twice, in the two designated areas. Your new PIN should not exceed 10 characters.
Click Change PIN to send the information to the library or Reset to start over.

Renew Materials.

Select My Account from the rootbar.
Select Renew My Materials.
Log in, if required.
Click the Renew Selected Items or the Renew All radio button.
Click Renew Selected Items to renew your materials or Clear Selections to start over.
