The week of the young child is next week, April 14-18, and there are many exciting events planned for both you and your child. There is a theme for every day of the week and activities planned for each day.

On Wednesday evening, we are having an open house from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Please invite your friends and family and neighbors to see our childcare center and the wonderful projects your child does throughout the day. On Thursday morning, we are providing breakfast in the kinder room for you and your child from 6:30 - 8:30 am. Please take the extra time to sit-down and eat with your child.

We are ending the week long celebration with a multi-cultural Potluck at the center for the toddlers, preschools and kinders. Please bring in a dish to share with your child's class for lunch on Friday, April 18th. We would like this dish to be representative of culture and something your child will eat. We will ask every child to try something new, but we will also have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on hand. Please let me know if you plan to join us for this event.

Please take a look over the events planned for the week of the young child and participate in many activities as you can with your child. If you have any talents or resources you would like to share with the children, please let me know. This can be singing, dancing or playing an instrument, etc.
