This pathfinder is designed for Lakewood Public Library patrons and others seeking information regarding legal and government issues. Some of the better books on law and government in the library's collection are included here, as are important Web sites containing legal and government information. The "Legal Assistance" section has links to institutions and Web sites that offer insight into and/or assistance with legal matters.

The Superintendent of Documents at the U.S. Government Printing Office provides Ben's Guide to U.S. Government for Kids, an excellent site with government resources for students from kindergarten through high school. There are links to further resources for children.
