The Ohio Law and Government page includes the print versions of the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code, Rules of Court, and books concerning specific areas of Ohio law. There is a directory of Ohio public officials, cities, townships, and counties. There are links to online versions of the Ohio Constitution, Ohio Revised Code, Ohio Administrative Code, Ohio's official Web site, the General Assembly's site, court decisions, government agencies, and major Ohio political parties. A link to the Register of Ohio, which includes notices of proposed Ohio regulations, is also available.

- State of Ohio Home Page
- Links to a wealth of information about Ohio's legislative branch, but also the executive and judicial branches of Ohio government. Directories of agencies, boards, and commissions, phone numbers for state employees, and more.
- Ohio Capitol Connection
- Accessible through the library's computers or subscription. Information on the General Assembly's current legislative activities, House and Senate rosters, committees, and more. A searchable database contains legislation back to 1989. There is a Table of Contents ("Library") and a FAQ. Links to the ORC, OAC, and government sites.
- Ohio Constitution
- Unofficial electronic version of the 1851 Ohio Constitution with Amendments through 1999. The site contains the text of the Preamble, Articles 1-18, and the Schedule, is searchable by keyword.
- Ohio Revised Code
- The codified laws governing Ohio. Navigation bar displays the Titles (subjects) by which the ORC is organized. Includes a search engine with an advanced search feature. Check the Ohio Session Laws (below) or the Ohio Legislative Service in the library for possible amendments since the date this ORC was last updated.
- Ohio Session Laws
- The session laws are from the 121st General Assembly [1995-1996] through the 125th General Assembly [2003-2004]. The text of the laws are followed by a list of the Ohio Revised Code sections that are amended or created as a result of the session laws.
- Ohio House of Representatives
- Information on House leadership. House members can be searched for by last name, district, or zip code. Committee and contact information is provided. Links to the Ohio Revised Code and the General Assembly.
- Ohio Senate
- Information about Senate leadership, committees, session laws, Senate basics, and Senate history. Locate a Senator by name or district.

- This site presents the codified rules and regulations administered by Ohio regulatory agencies. Patrons may want to consult the OAC's print index in the library to assist in locating rules. For the most recent rules and regulations, consult the Ohio Monthly Record in the library. Consult the Register of Ohio online for the most recent proposed rules and notices of agency hearings.

- This site, maintained by the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, provides public notice of Ohio agency rules. It only includes those rules that require public notice. ("Chapter 119 rules")
