CLEARY, an author of children's books, enter into an agreement with ___________________ , a school located in the city of ________________ state of ___________ .  Under this agreement, I understand that I am to make a school or library (or other _______________ ) appearance on ________________ (day of week), the ______ day of _____________ , 2004.

This appearance may be in the form of a group presentation, a series of workshops or seminars, or a book signing session.  This format will be determined by school personnel or their representatives.  I understand that I am to be available between approximately the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:45 PM.  In exchange for this appearance on this day, I understand I will receive a check for $850 (eight hundred and fifty dollars).

For this appearance on this day, I understand he will be compensated $850 (eight hundred and fifty dollars).  Additionally, we will pay for (or share with other organizers in the cost of), the following: 
round-trip air-fare travel, hotel, all meals, and cab fare to and from Cleveland Hopkins Airport as they relate to this school visit.
