Instructions:
Go to the Google earth website http://earth.google.com/
Take the product tour - the link is on the lower right side of the page,
Print out a view of your house
Find several other locations that are important to you, maybe your school, your favorite restaurant, a friend’s house, printout the views
Go to the sightseeing link on the main page, tour the top spots, do you want to vacation there?
If your feeling adventurous, click on the build a 3D model link, practice making a model of a skate park, your house, your school,
Next, go to Google images http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en
Find some images that you like, insert them in a word document to make a picture story.
You may use a few words, prepositions, adverbs and adjectives to help explain your story. Your story should have at least 10 pictures. Check with staff in the technology center to see if they can read your story/
If you need help inserting pictures, don't be afraid to ask Technology Center Staff for assistance.
