Dear Horace Mann Parents,

PTA has been quite busy since the start of the school year.  It is
always nice to host events that bring smiles to many faces, such as
our Ice-Cream Social and Muffins with Mom, but bringing those smiles
would not be possible without all that volunteer to help; and that
help, time, and effort is priceless, so thanks to all who were able to
contribute in this way for those events.  Our next event, is our
Family Dance and Scholastic Book Fair on October 5th, so bring out
those dancing shoes and smiles!

We are happy to announce that our PTA membership has tripled what it
was at this time last year, and there is always time to join, thanks
to all who have done so thus far.  It was great to see new faces at
our first PTA meeting, and hope to see more at our upcoming meeting on
October 9th.

As we move toward raising money to reach our goal of enhancing the
playground for the enjoyment of all students, we are moving to a
second fundraiser.  Look for information in the coming weeks
concerning Kids Stuff Coupon Books.  With the holidays around the
corner, it would make a great gift.  Again, we appreciate the support
of  any of our fundraising efforts.
