General Meeting
The next general meeting of the PTA will be April 15, at 7pm. John Brich, District Supervisor of Maintenance/Custodial, and Jan Soeder, Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Education, will be our guest speakers. They will fill us in on the construction of Horace Mann, timelines, and moving to the new school.

Officer Elections
PTA Officer Elections will be held at the general meeting April 15. The slate of candidates for the 2008/2009 school year is:

Sock Hop!
The McKinley Sock Hop will be held April 18 at 6:30pm in the gym. Put your dancing shoes on and don’t miss this fun family night! Music, raffle, food and fun!

Fun and Fitness
Friday, April 11th the PTA has scheduled Fun and Fitness for McKinley presented by the Cleveland Natural History Museum. We are looking for 10 volunteers to help with this program. Please contact Ellen Ospelt if you are able to volunteer that day.

Market Day
Orders placed in March can be picked up Wednesday April 2nd in the gym from 5:00-6:00pm.

Campbells Labels for Education
The Campbells Labels for Education organization has given us one last chance to redeem label fronts for points. Starting in the 2006/2007 school year Campbells began requiring UPC codes for point redemption. Stephanie Motsinger, PTA Campbell’s Label Chairperson has made arrangements for us to redeem any label fronts we can find. Send in those label fronts and UPC codes! We can earn points to be redeemed for school equipment.
