| V.I.K. Foundation (Very Involved Kids) The V.I.K. Foundation is a student-created,
student-run foundation dedicated to supporting the arts in elementary
classrooms of Lakewood, Named after Viktor Schreckengost, an industrial designer, ceramist,
and former teacher at the Cleveland Institute of Art, the V.I.K. Foundation
was organized in 2005. Individual grants of $25.00 are awarded to elementary teachers in the city of Lakewood, Ohio for the advancement of the arts. Grants may include: V.I.K. grant proposal forms may be picked up at Grant Elementary in Lakewood, Ohio during regular school hours or printed from this web site. Grants proposals are accepted from September to March and are reviewed at the monthly V.I.K. Foundation meetings. Eight grants will be awarded each school year. V.I.K. is umbrellaed under the Schreckengost Foundation to defray expenses of incorporating a separate foundation. Goals V.I.K. Foundation Highlights: |
