Nominees Inducted

Students in the 2/3 Discovery Class at Grant Elementary nominated individuals for induction into the Discovery Space Hall of Fame by writing a research report and producing a creative product, display, or demonstration highlighting the nominee’s contribution to the study of space.

Nominees included Edwin Hubble, Neil Armstrong, Wilbur and Orvile Wright, Stephen Hawking, Dr. Matthiesen (Sarah’s dad), and Dr. Opila (Curtis’ mom) to name a few.

The presentations were informative, entertaining, and an interesting way for the class to learn about space “Super Stars” of the past and present.
