Our mission: It is the purpose of Emerson PTO to provide all students at Emerson with programs and activities that enrich their educational experience and make Emerson a fun environment for learning. Emerson PTO believes strongly that the elementary years are a critical time for students to establish a life-long love of learning. It is our goal to work in partnership with parents and families, teachers and staff, volunteers and students to make Emerson Elementary an enjoyable place for all.

Upcoming Events

Plant Sale orders pick-up May 8th at Garfield.

Spot Sale May 22nd the Emerson Parking lot will be transformed into a huge garage sale! You can rent a spot and sell what you've got! (see attachment) Crafts, clothes, jewelry, toys ... Be sure to stop by and check out what is shaping up to be a very large sale.

School Supply Kits Back by popular demand. Order your complete set of school supplies for next school year by June 4th and forget about it come August. Emerson PTO will purchase all the supplies your child's teacher requested and have them ready and waiting for you after August 19th. See the attached order form and be sure to turn it in before June 4th.

Chalk Fest: Check out the great student art around the school on May 21st. Wish for sunny skies! This years theme is FUN IN THE SUN.

Heritage Cookbook: We are capturing all the greatness of Emerson's Heritage Night Potluck with a custom cookbook of our favorite recipes. Want to contribute your families favorite recipes? e-mail your complete recipe(s) to bhandg@hotmail.com or send them to Mrs. Kufel labeled PTO Cookbook. Be sure to include a complete recipe and a name and phone number.
