Purpose: To learn the research process; To produce a well-written research paper.

Choosing a subject is a very important step because you must be interested in learning about this subject. In Science class you chose a National Park. This will be the subject. The topic will be the general information about the park.

Facts you should report on about your park: LOCATION, REGION, CLIMATE, HISTORY OF PARK, LANDFORMS (the information you will need for your science project), LIFE IN THE PARK, CONSERVATION, MISCELLANEOUS (unique facts).

Use the Lakewood Library Student Guide to Research Papers for help in preparing your report.
