Admissions:
SS. Cyril & Methodius School admits students of any race, color, national
or ethnic origin. Admission takes place through formal registration and evidence
of birth, Baptism, parish membership, and childhood immunizations. Early
screening is required for entry into Kindergarten and First Grade.
Enrollment/Re-enrollment is
renewed each year, usually during February-March. Acceptance is contingent
upon financial requirements being met and evidence of acceptable
behavior with our school philosophy. The school reserves the right
in some cases not to invite the family back to school or deny re-registration
due to unresolved discipline problems, failure to follow rules, refusal
to complete assignments, tuition that is outstanding, financial obligations
have not been met or cleared, or if philosophy and/or policies cannot
be observed.
Transfer
students must present records from previous school along with a written
reason from the pastor indicating reason of transfer. Transfer students
will be admitted for a probationary period of nine weeks. Students
will be observed for successful experiences, both academically and
behaviorally.
Withdrawal
Policy:
Parents/Guardians deciding to withdraw their child(ren) for any reason need
to contact in writing, the school office to process a record transfer. Registration
fees will not be reimbursed. Students records will not be released until
ALL school bills are paid and all forms have been completed and signed by
the parents/guardians and principal.
Change
of Address/Pertinent Information:
Any changes in information must be provided in writing by the parent/guardian
to the school office. It is critical that information remain current in a
case of illness, medical emergencies or an accident.
Child
Custody:
In case of separation, divorce, or shared custody, the school requires the
custodial parent to provide a certified copy of the court order, and/or complete
divorce decree with the judge’s signature. The school will not act
as a liaison between parents.
Prior to the first day of school the following forms must be
submitted:

Examination Record (Early Childhood & New students)

Medical Authorization Form
- Authorized
Pick-Up List (Early Childhood & Extended Homework Lab students)
- Federal
Lunch Program Form
Class
size is limited to only twenty-five students. Preference will be
given to children of active, contributing parish families.
