SS. Cyril & Methodius School is staffed by a qualified, professional faculty that is intensely interested in and dedicated to the education of children.  All full-time teachers are graduates of an accredited undergraduate university and are certified by the State of Ohio.  They further meet the professional standards set by the Diocese of Cleveland Secretariat of Education.

 Auxiliary personnel include a school psychologist, speech therapist, remedial reading and math teacher, learning disabilities tutor, and full-time services clerk.
 

Contacting the Faculty

 The school office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Appointments with the principal can be made anytime during school hours through the school secretary.

 Individual teachers cannot respond to telephone messages during the school day, except in an emergency.  They are available for telephone messages and responses after school hours, specifically from 2:35-3:00 PM.  If you wish to speak to a teacher, please leave a message with the school secretary and the teacher will return your call that same day.

 Many problems grow out of simple misunderstandings and are often resolved when parents and teachers first communicate directly with one another before asking the principal or pastor to become involved.  In general, the principal will confer with parents about a classroom problem only after parents have first spoken to the teacher.
 

Security

 The school has a security system in operation.  Please use the buzzer to contact the office upon entry.  All visitors must first report to the school office.  Office is located on the 2nd floor, Room 201.

 The only persons who are not considered visitors are members of the school staff and our students.  All others must report to the office, even if you are expected for an appointment.
