Research
Now that you have a subject, it is time to start your research. Check with your teacher to find out how many different sources you will need and what types of sources (books, magazines, Internet) you are supposed to use. Knowing something about the person you have chosen will help to guide you to appropriate sources of information. Having your assignment with you at the library will help the librarians find the materials you need.

Print Resources include non-fiction books, magazines, and newspapers. Many of these sources may be checked out, while others are reference items and may only be used in the library.
Electronic Resources are the databases accessed at the library and web sites found on the Internet. Be sure to read the instructions for each database before starting your search.
Audio Visual Resources including audio cassettes, CDs,
books on tape, movies/videos, and CD-Roms are available in the AV Section
of the library.
