Book Title: The Da Vinci Code
Author: Dan Brown
This book starts out when a man who is murdered but has to pass on Secret information in codes and ciphers so the information does not fall into the wrong hands. His clues use Leonardo Da Vinci's works of art because Da Vinci had known the secrets the man wanted to pass on.
In the book, Robert Langdon and Sophie team up to try and solve the clues. The battle to find out the secret isn't just a game; it's a matter of life or death when the search turns ugly.
The team faces many adventures and surprises in the book, but when the mystery is solved, you'd never guess that that was the answer.
This is my favorite book. It is a great mystery and always keeps you guessing. Dan Brown is a very good author and has many other wonderful books, like, Angels and Demons, and Deception Point. This book is a must read for adventure/mystery lovers everywhere

Book Title: The Bad Beginning
Author: Lemony Snicket
Lemony Snicket is a creative and somewhat a depressing writer, he can also be somewhat creative. What inspired me about his writing was that he writes about life but more than life four lives the lives of the Budlaire orphans and what they went through.
"The Bad Beging" is about how the four Budlaire Childrens troubles began. The story was depressing yet interesting because it talks about how even though you might be scared to do some thing you can do it. I liked the story very much because it helped me over come obstacles.
The story of the four Budlaire children Violet the eldest who was fourteen, Klaus who was tweleve, and young little sunny who was an infant, they were all on the beach when Mr. Poe a friend of the Budlaire's parents went down onto the beach with horrible news that the Budlaires parents had died in a fire and that they now the Budlaire orphans would go to live with their closest reletive Count Olaf. The Budlaires soon moved in with Count Olaf and began to do anything that Count Olaf said because he forced the Budlaires into doing so.

Toward the end of the sory Count Olaf and his theater troop put together a play called "The Marvilous Marriage" in which was a real play not a story but what was going on in the play the were truely doing. Book Title: Speak
Author: Laurie Halse Anderson
The book is about a girl named Melinda who enters high school as a social outcast. Her best friends all hate her and people she doesn't even know say bad stuff about her. The teachers
pick on her because they think she is a bad influence. All of this is happening because of what happened at a party. At the party Melinda called the cops. Everyone thought it was a stupid thing to do, but Melinda had a reason. The problem is she can't tell anyone what happened on that horrible night. This book shows how high school really is and the different cliques and stuff that goes on. It's a powerful story and kind of sad. Laurie Halse Anderson is a great author, and this book is really good for teens to read. I like this book a lot.
