In 1925 he went to Berlin to study with the late Artur Schnabel, and two years later made his European debut in that city. During the next six years he gave many concerns on the continent and assisted Artur Schnabel in his piano classes.

Mr. Shure is now a Cleveland resident and head of the piano department of the Cleveland Music School Settlement and Musical Director for Country Concerts Association.
