Many general booksellers and review sites listed have sections for younger readers' materials, but here are a few dedicated to children's literature.

CM: Canadian Review of Materials Reviews of print and electronic materials for young people, geared for a broad audience. Attractive web site includes back issues and an index. Icons indicate Canadian-published materials. A text-version is available by e-mail.
Reading Rants! -- Out of the Ordinary Teen Booklists! Recommended reading from a NYC young adult librarian.
Teanreads.com Combines the best pop culture books, young adult titles and adult books suited for teens. Part of the Book Report Network with Kidsreads.com. Kidsreads covers ages 6-12 and includes a breakdown by reading level. Includes better pop culture picks and an online book club.
Favorite Teenage Angst Books "...a celebration of teenage angst and personal discovery." The site maven is a publishing professional who aims for "a comfortable place for teen readers themselves, as well as to provide down-to-earth perspectives on YA [young adult] literature for the adults in their lives." Book reviews by genre, author interviews, message board.

Historical Fiction Listed by Date A good companion for students in middle grades.
